Opportunity for Artists: Call for Video Art
The Charlotte Street Arts Centre is seeking submissions of contemporary video art and digital images from New Brunswick filmmakers and artists for display on our lobby screen.
The purpose of this call is to promote artists and their work to the public. The selected artworks will be displayed for one month.
This opportunity gives local artists the ability to have their artwork shown in a high traffic venue in Fredericton. All artists are encouraged to submit videos or digital portfolios.

Circus! Art & Science under the Big Top!
The delight and wonder of the circus come to the WGAC! This class illuminates the pageantry and feat of skill and daring of this fabulous form of public entertainment and its evolutions from the 18th century to the modern day. Exquisite fine artworks by world renowned artists such as Henri Matisse and Marc Chagall will be explored. We will finish with a grand performance under the big top!

When Science & Art Collide!
Corn starch + paint = sculpture! Acrylic paint + glitter = mobile! Paint + Glue = window cling! Paint + salt + sun = surprise! Let’s see what happens with science and art collide!
General Information:
Registrations for all programs will be taken at the William V. Haskell Community Center, Monday-Friday from 8-5pm.
Registration for Session I begins December 12, 2011
Session II begins February 7, 2012
Session III begins April 3, 2012
This after-school arts program held at Wintergreen Art Center is for grades 1-6. Once there, children will receive homework help, enjoy healthy snacks, create self directed studio projects,participate in reading time, and explore the arts and cultures of the world in a safe and supportive environment.
The cost of the program is $60 per session fro Presque Isle residents with an additional $30 fee for non-residents.
Financial assistance is available. Please contact the Presque Isle Rec Center at 764-2545 for more information or to register.
Grades 1-3 meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 5:30pm.
Grades 4-6 meet on Wednesday and Friday from 3:00 to 5:30pm.
